Tricia Peterson
Owner & Founder
The most rewarding part of my job is watching our vision become reality. It comes down to creating a foundation where staff, families, and children feel safe and loved. I get great satisfaction from watching the staff take what they've learned and expertly weave those skills into a play-based environment for the children. Seeing the confidence our team has gained by successfully implementing the Pyramid Model truly brings me joy. We’ve built something amazing, and sharing that achievement with everyone is the best part.
Alyssa Buske
Toddler Teacher/Member on Leadership Team
The most rewarding part of my job is being able to watch a child's growth first and knowing I was a part of it. Between celebrating milestones, teaching them new skills, creating relationships with the children and their families, and all the fun in-between my heart is always full.
Alyssa Diken
Infant Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the pure joy every day: seeing the smiles on the kids' faces and watching them hit developmental milestones! Also, forming bonds with the children and with the parents, makes the work so meaningful. I enjoy the constant opportunity for learning new things every day and growing with them keeps me energized and engaged.
Jenny Coombs
Floater/Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job is watching the kids grow and learn, especially when they put to use the things we've taught them.
Emily Faulkner
Infant/Toddler Floater Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job by far is when you see something “click” for a child. The moment when they finally accomplish something you have been working on with them, and they look at you with that huge smile on their face and the excitement in their eyes. Those are the moments that remind me why I’m in love with this field.
Mikayla Justmann
Floater Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job is working with the staff and children. I also really like learning new things every day so I can grow right along with the kids. And, of course, I truly enjoy the holiday parties; those fun times celebrating with the children are the best!
Paula McGeary
Preschool Teacher
The most rewarding part of teaching is building relationships with the children and families. I enjoy helping the children feel safe and comfortable and giving them the experiences they may not be able to do at home. I especially enjoy seeing the smiles each morning!
Emily Mollet
Infant/Toddler Teacher
The most rewarding part of being a teacher is seeing the growth and progress in the children— watching their confidence build, their curiosity spark, and knowing I played a part in helping them discover new skills or understand the world in a deeper way.
April Phelps
Toddler Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a child take a skill that they struggled to learn and to teach it to another child. Also, knowing that my impact on a child goes far beyond their school years.
Kari Raasch
Floater Teacher/Data Coordinator on Leadership Team
The most rewarding part of my job is definitely the bond I build with each child. That connection is what allows me to focus on making each child feel safe and loved—ensuring they have that secure base. Seeing them thrive is the greatest reward, especially watching the children grow day by day, mastering new things and developing their own unique personalities. Honestly, all of that—the connection, the safety, and the growth—is where my heart is full ❤️.
Kristin Scholz
Infant/Toddler Teacher
The most rewarding part of my job as a Teacher at FASA is building connections with the children we care for and also the families as well. Forming Trusted relationships during these early years is crucial, and our small center "family feel" allows us to spend quality time getting to know each of the kids, even if they aren't in our classroom all the time. It is so exciting to watch the children grow, and learn and develop new skills each day while knowing you've made a positive impact on their lives.
Sheila Hagen
